Skype has been a super useful tool for me to use in many different situation, from personal to professional. Not only have a used it to benefit me during meetings that I have not been able to attend, I have also been able to use it with my students.
Recently I had to stay home with my ill son and the 4th grade teachers were unsure how to run the lab that I planned for the kids. We were able to Skype into the class so that I could introduce the lab and assist with questions during class! This was a huge success and was super motivating for the kids.
