It's all about creating...Mashups are a super fun way to integrate music into your life and there are several sites that will share with you their blended pre-recorded songs. One of my favorites is Bootie Blog. I found several really cool music mashups from top artist. I love to integrate music into my lessons, the kids love it!
If you are more of a reader, I found a book that covers the topic of Mashups, Mashed Up: Music, Technology, and the Rise of Configurable Culture (Science/Technology/Culture) by Aram Sinnreich.
Sinnreich explains, "From ancient times to the present day, writers and thinkers have remarked on the unique power of music to evoke emotions, signal identity, and bond or divide entire societies, all without the benefit of literal representation.
