Wordle is an image generating site that allows the student to brainstorm a list of words and it generate an artistic version of the words.
Animoto is a free site that allows its users to upload still pics and short video clips to make an inspiring quick flick with music and short text passages. These are kid friendly sites that allow the producer to really feel successful in making a meaningful presentation. These are two that I have made over the pass few years.

Voki - I was able to make a few Voki's of my self and it was alot of fun. I can see myself using a voki to introduce a lesson. I think they get tired of hearing the same ole voice day after day, so this voki can add new life to any room. The kids can also use it with easy for reporting or answering questions. Voice Thread has a search engine so that you can pull up pre-made VT's and use them in your classroom. I found several videos that could be used in the elementary Science Lab
